Physiotherapy Services
I offer animal physiotherapy home visits within the Helsinki city area. Home visits are ideal for many situations and are particularly beneficial for dogs and cats who require a stress-free, familiar environment during their treatment.
On-site physiotherapy is located in Viikki, Helsinki – Helsinki University Small Animal Hospital (Monday-Thursday). There is also a water treadmill available for water therapy.
In addition, I offer remote consultations (online), perfect for both physiotherapy and behavioural training. In a 60-minute remote session, you will receive effective, practical guidance tailored to your animal’s rehabilitation, helping you achieve the best results from the comfort of your own home.
I provide physiotherapy services for dogs, cats, small animals, horses, and exotic animals.

I am Milka Tauru, a physiotherapist specialized in veterinary physiotherapy, with a master’s degree in the field from the University of Liverpool. I treat all kinds of animals, with a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation, sporting animals, and feline physiotherapy. I also enjoy working with animals that face challenges related to handling or behaviour.
As a certified animal trainer, I have gained expertise in interactive, stress-reducing animal handling through FearFree®, KivaKäsittelijä®, and ISFM Cat-Friendly Veterinary Professional® training.
